What a Real Book Needs — and How We Handle It
A bookstore-quality children’s book needs a proper trim size, a cover with the right spine, images sharp enough to print, and clean, print-ready pages. Most AI tools don’t think about any of that — they just make something that looks good on a screen.
That’s our job, not yours. Build in the editor and it’s handled automatically. Upload a finished PDF and we check it before anything prints. Either way, what arrives at your door is a real book — not a screenshot.

BookBildr prints through a certified professional printing partner and ships worldwide. Hardcover, softcover, square, portrait, or landscape — your finished book arrives as a real physical object, not a file you have to figure out how to print yourself.

We check every uploaded PDF before it goes to press. If something won’t print well — pages too small, images too low-resolution, we’ll work with you to get it fixed.
Yes. Upload your AI-generated images directly into the BookBildr editor and place them on your pages.
Copyright on AI-generated content is your responsibility. BookBildr prints the content you provide. We recommend reviewing the terms of whatever AI tool you used to generate your text and images.
Yes. If you want to generate text or illustrations directly inside BookBildr rather than importing from another tool, you can do that too.
Production typically takes 3-5 business days, and shipping times usually take up to 7 business days, depending on your location. International shipments with chosen MAIL level can take up to 28 business days. Express shipping options are available for most locations.
When using BookBildr Editor, you can submit for professional printing books with as little as 8 interior pages (10 pages in the book project, including the covers).
If you’d like to print your PDF in one click, you’ll need at least 20 pages including the covers.
You don’t have to prepare your PDF in any particular way. However, keep these in mind:
- The first page will be printed on the front cover.
- The second page is the first interior book page on the right.
- If the page count is an even number, the last page of the PDF will be printed on the back cover.
- If the page count is an odd number, we’ll automatically add a white back cover.
- No bleed or crop marks are needed – we’ll add them automatically.
