BookBildr Publishing Terms

At BookBildr, we’re committed to offering authors transparent, fair, and flexible publishing services. Below is a summary of the key terms that apply when you publish your book with us. These terms reflect the essence of our standard Book Publishing Agreement.

Rights & Ownership

  • You (the Author) retain full copyright of your work.
  • You grant BookBildr LLC the exclusive right to publish and distribute your book in print and electronic formats worldwide.
  • Subsidiary rights (such as translation, audio, or film rights) are also licensed to BookBildr for up to one year after your book’s first publication. After that, you may reclaim any rights not actively licensed by providing 30 days’ written notice.

What We Publish

We publish books in:

  • Print (paperback and hardcover)
  • Digital formats (PDF, ePub, Kindle)
  • Additional formats and languages upon agreement

Manuscript Submission & Deadlines

  • Authors are expected to submit a complete, editable manuscript and supporting materials (images, charts, etc.) by the agreed deadline.
  • If substantial edits are needed, you’ll have up to four weeks to revise.
  • If the manuscript isn’t delivered on time and the agreement is terminated, and you later finish the book, BookBildr has the right of first refusal to publish it—meaning you must offer it to us first.

Editing & Proofing

  • We provide professional copyediting for clarity, grammar, and style.
  • You will have the opportunity to review and approve final layouts and cover art.
  • If page proofs are not returned in time, we reserve the right to proceed with publishing.

Promotion & Attribution

  • We actively promote your book via our channels and encourage collaboration.
  • You are free to promote your book independently, as long as BookBildr LLC is clearly credited as the publisher.
  • We may use your name, biography, and approved images in our promotional materials.

Royalties & Payments

  • You receive 90% of the net profit from book sales.
  • Net profit is defined as the total revenue received, minus printing, distribution, transaction fees, and taxes.
  • Royalty payments are issued monthly once your account balance reaches at least $20 USD.
  • Payments are made via bank transfer or PayPal.

Author Copies

  • If you purchase the Stellar Publishing Package, you will receive one complimentary printed copy of each physical edition of your book.
  • Additional copies may be purchased at a discounted rate, with no restriction on resale.

Optional Add-ons

  • U.S. Copyright Registration is available as a paid service.
  • BookBildr will file the registration on your behalf and ensure proper copyright notice is included in the publication.

Confidentiality & Legal Terms

  • All shared materials and communications are treated as confidential.
  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation or mediation.
  • Legal matters will be handled in the state of Florida under Florida law.
