My name is Cheryl Farnsworth, and I live in New Hampshire, USA. My artwork is inspired by the many animal neighbors who live around us – bears, raccoons, foxes, and moose (to name a few!).

I have been an animal lover since I was little and could be found drawing them over and over. If I was not drawing, I was reading! I consider my style to be whimsical and cozy, based on reality.

I have never had formal art training; instead, my background is in Education, where I have a Master’s degree as a literacy specialist.

I’ve been helping students learn to read for 24 years. Books are magic to me, and there is nothing like getting lost in a good book. I want every child to know that joy!

I hope my characters spark a child’s imagination and inspire a curiosity and desire to learn more. These days, our two granddaughters, Zoe and Ivy, are another source of inspiration; there is nothing quite like seeing the world through the eyes of a child!
