Hi! I’m Dámaris, but you can call me Daris.
I’m a children’s book illustrator and freelance graphic designer from Asturias (Spain), specializing in creating colorful, tender worlds full of round little characters who are always ready for an adventure.

I studied 2D animation, and it really shows in my style: dynamic, expressive, and full of movement. Character design is the part I love most about my work.

My illustration style is just right for children between 3 and 7 years old. I love telling stories through images, especially if they involve animals, plants, or little things with big eyes.

I also have a small (but lovely, I promise) obsession: making text and illustration understand each other,
love each other, and tell the story together as a great team.

I work designing, illustrating, and laying out children’s books for both publishers and self-publishing authors.
