My name is Sonia, and I’m a Colombian illustrator living in Mexico. Since I was little, I loved to be around books and now I’m happy to be part of the publishing community. I’ve illustrated books published in Mexico, Spain, Australia, USA, Ireland and Korea.

I think of books as personal treasures that you can open at different times in life. I enjoy creating unique characters and poignant illustrations, hoping to bring a meaningful experience for the viewer, so they want to come back to them over and over.
